James has spent the last 9 years covering emerging technology and digital privacy for publications including TechCrunch, Engadget, and The Next Web. In 2022, he founded CarringtonFoundation after recognizing a massive credibility gap in the NSFW AI review space โ€” most "review" sites were glorified affiliate pages written by people who had never actually used the products.

James personally tests every platform on CarringtonFoundation using a structured 20-point evaluation framework. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a background in machine learning research.
